Friendly Fill-Ins - August 19th

This meme is hosted by Ann at McGuffy's Reader and Ellen at 15andmeowing. Each week they will post four fill-in statements.

Here are my answers...

WEEK 15: August 19, 2016

1. When I run out of Bath & Body hand soap, I use regular soap instead.

2. My guru is mmmm...I don't think I have one!

3. I am afraid of getting bad medical reports. I'm fine, but whenever I go to the doctor for regular check ups, I get worried. Fortunately, I'm okay.

4. I feel empowered...well, I don't think I ever feel empowered. I have to give this more thought. .

  1. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins. I love Bath and Body hand soap too.I am glad you are healthy, it is scary though to have tests. I always feel like something might be found if they go looking. Have a great weekend! XO

  2. I need to get Bath and Body hand soap - I'm obviously depriving myself! ;) YES! I'm right there with you on being afraid of getting a bad medical report - even when you are healthy and fine, that hurry-up-and-wait for any results is nerve wracking. Have a great weekend! :)

  3. I am glad that you are okay. Getting bad reports from the doctor worries me, too. Every time I take David to the doctor, I am just sure they are going to admit him to the hospital again.

I hope that you will continue to be just fine. Have a blessed weekend!

  4. It is funny how we all grew up using plain bar soap for everything, now we have body wash, and hand soap, and foot soap, etc. :-) Guru is kind of a tricky word. There is no one in this world I trust implicitly, but there are many people I can learn from by the way they lead their lives. My father when we was aging used to jokingly say "don't go to the doctor, they will find something wrong." I think we all have that fear in the back of our minds. From reading everyone's answers I believe we need to start empowering each other!

  6. I never thought about bad reports from the doctor until I got old. Sometimes just being old is a bad report. Thankfully my reports have been good.

  7. Oh, I am struggling with some health issues, as I have off and on since I was a teen. It is embarrassing and tiresome.
I always read the fill-ins on Friday and then get back to them to comment. Weekends are so hectic right now, but will settle down as we get into Fall. Thank you for participating in the Friendly Fill-Ins. We appreciate your participation. Hugs.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
